I have had good luck with SW precision rifle when Varget was hard to find.
SW web site list a match load using Winchester brass and primers, 168 SMK and 42.5 grains of Tactical rifle. 2.800. That should be an excellent reference point for your 168 A max.

I sent a 1050 in for a rebuild earlier this year. Turn time was incredible. The personal phone call explaining what was done and why was most impressive. After over 30 years of positive experience, Dillon continues to impress.
I used to be a believe in imperial sizing wax for all things rifle. These days I am down to actively loading for .223 and .308. Using Dillon carbide sizing dies and spray lube have made it a lot easier on my old shoulders.
I was 22. Had just purchased a Ruger RedHawk in .44 magnum. I got into reloading to load . 44 special. Guy at the gun shop sold me a Lyman t mag turret press, rcbs little dandy powder measure, and dies. He set the die’s for one bullet. Lead 240 swc, my powder charge was 6 grains of unique.

Thankfully Redding has awesome customer service and a replacement is on the way.

The rest of the story. Physical therapist promises she can whip me into shape in 2 months. Until then I am exercising, and looking forward to loading again.
Prior to the surgery or knowing I needed it, I got the approval for a second 1050 because it is so much easier to load on. Maybe my surgeon could write me a note for an automation upgrade. Lol.
will take some video for my physical therapist to view and learn what conditioning exercises I need...
Physical therapy starts next week. Meet with my surgeon for a follow up at the end of December. Going to give myself plenty of time to heal and regain strength.
