Defender Well that isn't good at all.. You just gave about the most negative post on the the colt I've seen.. As it seems many people don't have any issues at all with them.. Sounds like you might have got a lemon.

I still havn't went to test mine as of yet. But will try early next week.. If there has been any jamming issues, hopefully with the newer models they have it all worked out.. If I have any jamming issues I'll do some light polishing to the ramp and re-test it again...As it seems some people...

Colt defender Hi, just bough a new colt defender.. I have never owned one,but fired a friend of mines and really liked it.. He had some trigger work done and polishing to the ramp from what I understand. Is there anything negative I should know about. My buddy said that he had some...

    Taurus Pt 92

Nope, it still has the slop even with the slide locked foward. And to be honest I havn't fired it yet. I hope to be going this week to give it a test.. I've owned the Beretta 92 fs and was all over in a 9" group at 7 yards.Needless to say was not happy with that in the least.. I ended up trading...

    Taurus Pt 92

I think I'm gonna trade this PT-92 in on a kimber ultra carry II, or a colt defender.

Anyone ever seen their permit faster then 90 days. Even when done electronically? I took an advanced course.

    Taurus Pt 92

Excellent info .. Thanks! Huge help.. I was somewhat concerned about it,but the more positive I get from you guys on my Taurus 92 the more my mind is at ease. It's the only firearm I've bought with this barrel wiggle. As it seems is not to be worried about.

    Taurus Pt 92

As far as trigger work go's the action seems pretty nice unless firing it double action.. It has an incredible amount of travel and effort to pull the trigger. I'd like to see it a little more smooth functioning for double action.

    Taurus Pt 92

My barrel slop is still there even while a round is chambered. I even called a shop with this information and I'm told that the Baretta 92 has the same barrel slop as the Taurus 92- as it seems most people are apperently saying the slop is noraml and the nature of the beast.

    Would you recommend trigger work?

    Taurus Pt 92

Axeman g, I agree about it's safty. The baretta seems to be backward of the Taurus. I like to thumb down safty off rather then up like the baretta. Makes for faster readyness while having to draw on demand..Atleast for me anyway.

    Taurus Pt 92

Zhyla, Thanks for your post. I'll be shooting it soon. I have a hand full of high quality guns however this one is the first and only I've seen with barrel play like this, so it was only an inquiring question about the barrel slop and concerns for accurancy.. Thanks guys.

    taurus pt92 barrel wiggle

I have the same question about this. My Pt92 has considerable slop as well.. Not really sure how to feel about it.. From what I've been reading it's fairly normal.. Even a brand new baretta has the same barrel play. As it seems is the nature of the beast.

    Taurus Pt 92

Hi guys, Was wondering if anyone has any advice on this weapon.. Noticed it has a bunch of barrel slop.. From what I understand it is fairy normal and will not affect it's accuracy? The baretta 92 has the same type of slop even brand new.. As it seems is the nature of the beast. Anyone have the...
