I'm thinking about a rifle chambered in 357mag. Any suggestions, comments or experience?

I don't load hot loads. I am loading Rainier jacketed bullets with no cannelures. I have had better results with no crimp. The bullets fit very tight and I have measured for bullet creep after firing several shots and have found none. Anyone else find this to be the case?

I just came into a 1921 Colt Police Positive 38 special. It has a split grip (black plastic) grip. Does anyone know of a source for these? I am new here and haven't found my way around yet.
