    If pressure is pushing the brass back to the bottom of the primer pocket, why after multiple firings don't I get high primers? Same load in both guns. Is it that slight?

    Anyone use IMR700X in 45 ACP?

    I have plenty of IMR700X powder for loading shotguns. Was thinking of trying some for 45 loads. It's extremely clean burning. Listings run from 4.4 to 4.9 grains 700X for 45 ACP. Has anyone tried this powder for 45?:confused: Will be use for plinking/targets in a 1911. Thanks in advance.

    Although I have loaded thousands of rounds on my Dillon 550B, I have never loaded for rifles. A friend has aquired a 550B and wants to load for .223 and .204. Any hints I should know that are extra for bottleneck case loading on a Dillon? Thanks in advance.

    30-06 collet die

    I just use the standard RCBS two die set. When finished, I use a Lee taper crimp die to just snug the the bullet in the case. Have had excellent results in a M1 and my bolt action.

    Large Pistol Primers in stock at Midway!!!

    I just go to my LOCAL gunshop, who I have done business with for years, and buy any quantity of whatever I want. Ju st purchased 5M of primers. So it's a couple of bucks more, and that is ALL it is! Support the local guy! Especially when you can get whatever and any amount you want!

    They can be reloaded. As said before, they will harden and split very quickly! Maybe even in the firearm! Just not worth it! Plenty of cheap brass all over the forums. My 2 cnts.
