    I'd rather have a large stuffed crust pepperonni pizza M1 garand no doubt. 180 grain round at 2900 feet per second beats the heck out of a 230 grain round at 800 feet per second. and it can reach out there and touch someone further away.

    I find a marlin semi auto in .22 LR is best, but if you dont tagem up a few times pretty quick, well, ive seen these guys run about 20 mph, okay maybe about 10-15, so fast it really just looked funny. i love armadillos, cant wait to go armadillo hunting again.

    It can be done with anything but you would want at least a .375 H/H magnum or possibly a .338 lapua with very heavy loads.

    stick to the .45 long colt if you are in bear country. Cant really think of a better handgun round than that for such a purpose.

    What about those Comanche's

    I heard the commanche's are cheap revolvers .38 special mainly, and that they function just fine but are blocky and have a gritty action that requires quite the lube and breakin period. Is there anything else i should know about these revolvers before i throw 150 dollars onto one?
