Right in Manhattan, my friend...

I haven't been here, but I've heard of it.
P.S. I work in Manhattan, but commute from the land of the free, PA.
Lucky and cheap...
I didn't buy up (i.e., hoard) during the panic. Judging from a quick anecdotal survey of online purveyors, with the exception of 9mm, it looks like ammo is becoming more available and the prices are coming down. There seems to be even a fair amount of 5.56 for sale...
Mine eats pretty much any ammo...with Ruger factory magazines. I've never tried an off-brand magazine, but I understand they generally don't work well with most minis.
Another vote for the PM9 (I guess the CM9 is pretty similar). At one point in time I compared the respective specs of the PM9 and the G26. The PM9 is significantly smaller and lighter than the G26. The G26 is nice...but not in an ankle holster.
The Rohrbough is way too pricey. (Hey, I'm cheap.)

They feel REAL GOOD in your hand.
Plus snob appeal - similar to why someone will buy a BMW X3, when arguably a Honda CRV is "just the same."
That said, an HK is still toward the top of my wish list. And I have a CRV, not a BMW - go figure.
I called Kahr on the partial drop thing. They're intentionally tight and not meant to completely drop. That said, the representative indicated that if you send in the pistol, Kahr will loosen - or tighten - the magazine/mag well. Owner preference.
I may be missing something, but why all the outrage over the "no firearms" signs in various businesses. The signs are primarily there for tort liability reasons.
If you have a legal CCW permit, who's going to know you're carrying as long as your gun stays concealed. Discretion is the better...
