Top loads using black powder in modern large caliber revolvers

Drop tube does the same thing as simply vibrating the case (and vice-versa) It just settles the powder grains together so more will fit compactly.

But it was a good call. Some manufacturers may have decided to use tighter constrictions, and it's good to check-6 (But it is interesting that Briley shows different constrictions even between its own listings of 410/Full-Choke)

If you measure the diameter of the stacked-.375"ball/WAA410 wad column, it's ~0.395" Guess what the internal-diameter of a full choke 410 is... (?) ;) As to pattern, I'll have to dig out my records (but it's pretty good out to 30-40 yards)

If the Gentle Reader is going to simply full-length resize every case, of every manufacturer, of every work-hardened condition, of every spring-back tendency, for every gun -- and discard said cases after 'x' cycles ('x' being a number as small as 5-6), so be it. If longer life is desired --...

GA: Proposed law to make owners of gun free zones liable

" I believe" a tort case could be made that if a proprietor prohibited an otherwise legal action, -- and that prohibition could be shown to directly contribute and/or cause injury or death -- it could make for very interesting case law.

Top loads using black powder in modern large caliber revolvers

    (1) There is no practical way to overload BP (at least using 3F/2F/1F) in a cartridge gun. Fill it as full as the case will accept/compressed (or as you desire) (2) Gas checks not required (or even useful) at BP pressures (3) soft, Soft, SOFT SOFT lube (and lots of it) is your best friend...
