The field strip takes a little bit to get used to, but I can do it blindfolded now. It's not bad once you understand the strut.
By the way your MKII is easy since you don't need to reinsert the magazine to release the hammer.
I know this makes no sense, but my Glock doesn't feel as as good as my Sig's and HK's in my hand. But I shoot it much better. I don't know if there's a gun that will fit me perfectly since my index finger is amputated. My trigger finger is my middle finger.
My G35 is a keeper.
I traded an XD45 with Tru-Glow sights and a trigger job for a MKIII Hunter and couldn't be happier. I don't have the extra cash to buy guns outright.
I did have an HK USPc 45 at the time so I wasn't losing a large caliber hd gun.
I've since traded the HK for a G35, but that's another story.:D
I recently purchased a MKIII Hunter and it hasn't failed once after 500 + rounds. I've shot Federals, CCI, and will try Winchester this week since receiving some for Christmas.

Great to hear your positive experience. I've heard that sig has ironed out the P238 problems.
It's unfortunate that there are some that are stuck with an earlier version that's less than reliable.
All my Sigs, old and new have been flawless. I've never called their cs so I have no experience there. The p238 isn't really a Sig design (Colt), but that's no excuse for them to malfunction. The P230 and P232 on the other hand are excellent performing .380's.
