Ernie here from FL, retired fire captain and USN reservist, avid 1911 shooter, and I think that a weapon should have a combination of wood and steel. (guess I am dating myself) I hope I never see a world without a 1911 and an M-14.
m-19.....perfect revolver, the older smiths have the action of what would be called a custom gun nowadays, can't say enough about a carbon steel blued smith.
