I have an FNX9 and love it. The FNH models are still in their cat and the people at browning say it will be for quite some time until more feedback comes in on the FNX models.
I just traded my PT92AFS, it was a good gun but I have small hands and the grip and grip angle was not quite right for me. Best to rent one at a range make sure it fits and is comfortable to shoot.
I have an FNX9 and love it. You have to be careful thou if you find an early model make sure the magazines lock good. The problem was solved in the later models. If you compete you also have to be careful from cocked and locked that you do not push the safety to hard or you will decock the gun...
I have a 75D and have put 10,000 rounds thru it and never had a malfuntion. The grip seems to be made for all people. More and more shooters are finding out the atributes of the 75's.
I have a glock, HP and CZ75D, the glock will get sold soon. The HP and CZ are a joy to shoot. Can't afford Jacked bullets and can't shoot cast from a Glock without a barrel change. The glock's grip angle is wrong for me and hard to hit targets off hand but is a fine pistol.
I shoot a lot of cast bullets in my pistols and use a worn out bore brush wraped with 4 'o steelwool. which is what the bullseye shooters at the range say they use. I hear of lots of other methods from people including lewis lead remover but would like to hear more that will not hurt the bore.
I have an FNX9 which is a fine pistol.before you buy try all three magazines make sure they lock positive then pull and jerk on it to make sure they stay in. The later ones have solved the magazine problem. I have a problem that when I shoot speed plates and drawing cocked and locked when I push...
You had be better concerned with what you can draw and shoot comfortably. A lot of people have guns that carry well but when they draw and shoot cannot hit the target even with lots of practace.
Most of the shooter's I know with diff upper's prefer the 6.8. It is close to a 270 and if you reload a large host of bullets are available which makes it good as a varmint up to large game. the guys tell me it is outstanding on pronghorn.
I use a Kholster IWB for my XD subcompact, my XDM fits the same holster but that long 19 round grip prints bad unless you blouse the shirt quite a bit. The FNX9 also fits the same holster and does not print as bad. I understand the Sig 250 also fits the same holster. The Kolster is adjustable...
Their is also international clays, In shotgun seems to have lower pressures and less of a inital jar when shooting. There is no loading data for pistol (9mm) but I use it because it shoots clean.
Again I say it is important to try them out on a range that you can rent them. I prefer either the XD subcompact or the CZ75D for carry. Then the XDM or FNX9 for the range and shooting speed plates
I had a taurus PT92AFS for about 12 weeks and had the same problem. If you have small hands make sure the gun is comfortable to hold. I traded mine in for a loss on an FNX9 an love it.
I have several friends that went to defensive school in Tenn and they said they would not allow serpia holsters to be used because of incidents of the finger ending up on the trigger when drawed.
