A Walther P22. What a POS. I sent it back and they sent me another one. Another POS.
The Walther P22 has to be one of the worst 22 pistols currently made.
I've owned tons of 22 handguns over my 40 plus years of shooting. I had two Walther P22s. Both were POS. Cute little pistols, just not worth owning.
My answer to anyone wanting a great plinking 22lr pistol is either Browning Buckmark (I own 8) or Ruger.
Best regards.
Sig p238
I have two SIG P238s. Both run fine with my reloads and factory ammo. I have over 1,000 rounds through each of my little SIGs with zero failures.
Best regards.

I have had a ton of 22 caliber pistols over the years. For the money, Ruger and Browning are the best. My favorite is the Browning Buckmark.
Best regards.
You'll need to take the top rail off (two screws) and then it is just one screw that holds the barrel to the Buckmark frame. It's very easy, I swap out my Buckmark barrels all the time.
Best regards.
I have several models of Buckmarks. They are all great pistols. I have a stainless Bullseye model that I like a lot. However, I think that my base model Camper shoots as good as the more expensive models.
The Bullseye model looks really nice.
Any Buckmark should perform well for you...
I've had several CZ P01s. All were fine pistols. However, I have no use for a rail on a handguns so I have sold all my P01s. I still have two CZ PCRs though.
Here's a picture of one of them.
Best regards.
I owned my Elite Match in 45acp for some time now. It is my opinion that the Match is one of the very best deals in handguns. It will shoot with pistols that cost three or four times as much.
Best regards.
phrogpilot;
You are correct, the Buckmark Bullseye model does come with a 7.25 inch fluted barrel. (The target model has a solid bull barrel).
Here's a picture of my Buckmark Bullseye. I added a TacSol Rail so I can mount a scope. You will need to add some type of a rail if you want to...
I've had a bunch of P01s and a bunch of PCRs. I have no P01s left. I still have two PCRs. I just can't see the need for a rail on a carry pistol.
Here's a picture of one of my PCRs.
Best regards.
+1. Both Ruger and Buckmarks are so much better pistols than the P22 it not even funny.
I had so much trouble with my P22, I sent it back. I got a brand new one because the original one couldn't be fixed. The second one was almost as bad as the first one. The P22 is one of the few guns that...
