    Second Quarter 2013 Rimfire Match:

LoL, I saved the larger center target for last thinking it would be a chip shot. That's what I get for being cocky.

    Second Quarter 2013 Rimfire Match:

Nothing like getting in just under the wire. I picked up a pretty nice vintage Mossberg 151M so I thought I would take it out and test drive it. Well after some frustrating functioning issues I was finally able to get off a few rounds without issue. Here is the result.

    Second Quarter 2013 Rimfire Match:

Well, I finally got out to shoot this target today only to find out when I got back home that I had shot it WRONG . LoL, I put two holes in each target instead of one! That will teach me to double check the rules before I leave. Oh well. guess I have to go back out to the range today.

    Second Quarter 2013 Rimfire Match:

I have yet to be able to get out and shoot this target. I'll change THAT tomorrow. As far as a 200yrd. challenge goes I'm up for it. The range that I belong to has 300yrd. capabilities. Lets do it !

    Marlin 30/30

Oh and my recommendation is also to stay away from the current production of freedom group Marlin lever guns.

I know that you said that you already have a bolt gun in a large caliber. How about another bolt gun in a smaller caliber? They stock a couple of Excellent Savage bolt guns in either 22 WMR or 17 HMR.

First Quarter "Duck Hunt" Rimfire Match:

Mav, Thanks, but.. I shot it with a Buckmark pistol just for the fun of it. To be honest, the back stop paced off at just over 22yrds.( it was the closest I could get to 25yrds.) and I did shoot indoor bullseye for over 10 yrs.

Awfully glad to see this is still up and running. looks like I'll be able to play once again! My work load has finally started to lessen and that should free up some time to get to the range on the weekends! Just in time for a challenging target I see. LoL Thanks for keeping this going...

    Lust at first Sight.

Another fan of the 27's here. I've been Jonesing for a blued 3 1/2" 27 for as long as I can remember. Problem is every time one comes along I've already spent the money on a different gun!

    End of 2012 Rimfire Match:

Awfully glad to see you guys are still going strong with the rimfire matches!! I too had to drop off the grid for awhile due to work. I had to take on a couple of service contracts for my shop to keep my head above water which included weekends and after hours. Working's a bitch! LoL ...

It's great to see this extented into Sept. I printed off these targets first thing and fully intended to shoot this one early this month but things just got busy as hell. I've got the next two days off so I'll be out to the range for sure. BTW, as usual, excellent shooting this month guys...

    August Rimfire Match:

OK, I've got my targets printed. I should be able to get out and give it a go early Saturday morning before I have to start on some more of the honey do list.

Ruger is out of stock already on the bi pods that are on sale. Go figure. They can still be back ordered though.

QUOTE" Besides, if I call it a 25 what's my excuse/motivation to get out there one more time tomorrow or Tues.? " LOL, good call Mav. but why do ya need either one??!! Excellent shooting BTW. I couldn't squeeze in a trip to the range today so hopefully I'll be able to tomorrow or Tues...

    July Rimfire Match:

I finally got out to the range this morning and set up my new CZ 452E /17HMR. No sooner did I get her all ready to go and the sky just opened up and poured! Needless to say the targets were ruined. I tried waiting it out but after an hour I packed up and called it quits. The (much needed) rain...
