Trent, ToddNRA seems to be the guy "in the know" over on arfcom. Surely there's more to this bill than just him so go easy on IL-GL until we know for sure. We're all in this together now...
The PS90 would be sick!
AR first for me..if I can just SBR my current lower, I'll be ordering a BCM 11.5" upper.
I assume we'll need to set up a trust for the NFA?
Beretta doesn't make any current production guns with a steel frame..
Well, technically you can still order a Steel I model from Beretta Australia, but its close to $3500 and doubtful you can get one shipped here. I'd take a Steel I over two of anything mentioned in the thread so far without...
I've never shot either, but really like both.
I couldn't believe the feeling when I finally got to fondle a MK III at a Bass Pro down in Florida during vacation back in June..I didn't know what to expect but I knew it was meant to be immediately. One day I'll have one in my collection, in...
Speaking of dry-fire..I admit that a 92 trigger isn't adequate without a D spring...I see no reason in leaving the trigger stock when a $5 spring can make it so much nicer. Others will obviously feel it's OK, but I don't like the feeling of the stock pull knowing what it can be with a new...
You're demeaning.
I can't help that there's no tone on internet text..
Don't get all upset over 1's and 0's converted into shapes on a computer screen. Maybe I was joking..
Maybe I like that all versions of the 92 are popular and feel like some testosterone was needed to liven the...
Never shot one, but I do want one for some odd reason. Ideally it'd be a Colt, but will probably end up with a polished chrome RIA in .38 super for S's and Giggles...no idea why, but for $400 why not?
Also a 'not always' thing..
Some regular 92's were floating around recently with what were thought to be overrun M9 frames with the straight dust covers. Also, some older models may or may not have the straight dust cover. But yes, 90% or more of the time that's correct.
I hate double action..
Even on my DA/SA guns I just load the mag into the gun while it's in battery, and slingshot the slide to load the first round and skip the DA shot.
Hell, I even turned one of my 92's into SAO with the hammer and trigger from 2 separate 92 SAO models (Billennium + Steel...
The M9 doesn't have a radiused backstrap on the grip area of the frame (not all 92FS do either, but most will), and the M9 comes from the factory with a 2-dot snowman style sighting system instead of the 3-dot. Those 2 things and the rollmarks are the only differences.
The m9 also doesn't have a radiused backstrap like most 92fs do..which gives it a slightly different feeling when holding it..the radiused backstrap can sometimes be enough to allow smaller hands to get a proper/comfortable grip, but if it works for you, you got an outstanding deal on a fine...
