Sold a carton of primers (1k) at cost to a fellow I am mentoring in reloading-seems that he started at a bad time in terms of getting supplies.
More important to me to help out a fellow shooter and nice guy than worry about a few primers
Try here if the fix is not working for you--apparently they are "restructuring" organization whatever that means but still are around.

No idea if it is the springs or not however the added mass of the bipod will most likely affect POI from non-bipod shots. The ONLY way to determine this is take 50 or so of your best shooting ammunition-head to the range and set up multiple targets- fire 5 or even better 10 round groups allowing...
Only gun I ever sold was a God Cup 45 - circumstances dictated it but I miss it to the day.
Must have made a lasting impression on me as I have not sold another since in the last 30 years and I do have some in the safe that have not been fired in decades- out to clean and check them but that's...
Cannot go wrong with the .243 however I have lately been gravitating towards my .257 Roberts. Perhaps more because of a nostalgic leaning to an old classic but in any case, minimal recoil and excellent on game performance. Cannot say it kills better but the deer never complain with either...
Like so many other replies, I wonder where and what the OP is buying.
I have a house in the mountains that is/was constantly humid. 20+ years ago I installed a Frigidare dehumidifier- worked well for 19 years and just replaced it with a similar model. I suspect I will get a similarly long life...
Had my retinal tear at age 65- near sightedness IS a contributing factor along with a host of others. No shooting was involved with the tear as I had not fired a rifle of any caliber in the prior 3 months, however, I do know that flashes of light is a big warning sign and I was in the retinal...
To the OP,
I have PERMANENT deafness in the left ear and a significant deficit in the right. When I went for the original exam with the ENT the first question/statement he made was -"you are a right handed rifle shooter aren't you?" The right ear semi-protected by position and the left is out...
Hanzo,
Couple of thoughts to toss in for you--first off, as others replied-be cognizant of the neighbors-I have a 15 acre parcel surrounded by a few thousand acres of pasture land . I can and do take deer but I must pick my shots so as not to shoot in the general direction of any of the 3...
Given the cost of Seal-A-Meal bags and rolls, I think ZCorr is a cheaper (or at least not an overwhelming difference) and is probably a bit stronger and is truly designed to keep rust off of guns
Every once in a while they go on sale for 5 or 6 bucks per bag.
Probably go with ZCorr over...
I needed about 5 choices since just about all of the available choices applied.
I also do not buy online for the same myriad of reasons. I have looked at gun store online sites but usually end up going to my LGS to complete the sale.

Most accurate----High Standard Citation Supermatic w/ Eley Match ammo
Most accurate Defensive Caliber----STI Perfect Ten 10 mm Auto in a 6' slide-Big, heavy and easy to shoot well.
If you cannot get this one to cut small groups you need to get another hobby.

444 is spot on
Having been fortunate enough to be on this earth for 65+ years and to see economic cycles continue unabated, this brouhaha about ammo is just that. Folks who UNDERSTAND economics and free markets have no problem.
A proper cost what another is willing to pay, be it ammunition...
Have the factory installed brake on my Armalite AR-30 338 LM and it brings it down to what I perceive a 30-06 level.
Not at all punishing.
Now, what it does to anyone or anything nearby is a different story.
I use double ear protection-foam plugs and electronic muffs. I have enough hearing...
I will second John's endorsement for Green Top Sports.
They are 100 miles from me but I never go thru Richmond Va. without stopping and buying something.
They have a very large selection of new and used guns very competitively priced, their powder and primer selection is very good and...
Not to hijack the thread but kingpin008 how the hell did you get local LEO chief to sign off on a suppressor in the liberal land called Maryland?
It has always been my understanding that Maryland was loath to allow anything firearms related.
Just wondering.
Gary
Absolutely.
All you will hear is the crack of the bullet as it progresses downrange with a supersonic round.
In the case of subsonic ammunition, the silence is deafening. Actually a pop about the sound of snapping the bubble wrap packing.
I shoot through a Gemtech 308 suppressor-mainly...
Try this one-only about 15 min away from Clark
Bros.
C.F. Phelps
Directions:
The Phelps Wildlife Management Area, located near the village of Sumerduck, is accessible by route 651, either south from U.S. Route 29 through the Town of Remington , or from U.S. Route 17, one mile north of...
Let me throw in one more not previously mentioned.
I have 3 deer in the freezer with this one this year. Ranges from 110 to 180 yards.
All chest shot thru top of heart, exit wound in the 1 to 2 inch range. All never took another step-easier to track that way.
130 gr. CoreLokt over 56 gr...
