    Well if i ever did want to hunt Alaska, the .338 has an obvious edge. In either case, the .30-06 is a step down from either the .338 fed or the .35 whelen, within 200 yds. Not by much, but enough to make me uninterested. Again, im trying to keep this all within a single battery.
