Complete detail strip. place on cookie tray, spray with Simple Green, scrub parts with a brush, run under very hot water to flash dry and blow off parts with air compressor. Reassemble with lube and replace any suspect parts like springs if you can get them.

Grab some snap caps at least enough to fill one, preferably more, speed loaders. At home practice till you get to <=4 seconds. Practice is everything. Rome wasn't built in a day, it just burned down in one........

I like my 1300 for more of a fighting shotgun. It even cycles short shells with no modifications. For clays and hunting I have about a bakers dozen other choices.

I have the full size TP9SF but can tell you with my 124g handloads to NATO spec that it is maybe 1/2" high using a center hold at 10 yards. Perfect for me! Hope that helps.

To me the only real problems are a very heavy DA trigger pull, mushy trigger, trigger slap that annoys me after a half dozen mags or so, and both (50 & 70) have brittle firing pins. Don't dry fire and the pins should last a long time and new ones are available if you do break one. I like my CZ70...
