    Hornady LeverEvolution powder

Looks like it has nitrocellulose in it. That could spell trouble same as Alliant

    Hornady LeverEvolution powder

No...I have 2# of it and have yet to try out my ladder loads, but in this wacko world of change and unavailability just wondered about alternatives if it turns out I like it. Still trying to figure out where all the LR primers evaporated to.

    Hornady LeverEvolution powder

Can anyone verify who makes this powder and in what country? It's got the Hornady brand name and is distributed by Hodgdon. Very fine granules and meters beautifully.

While my reloading evening was somewhat interrupted by the grand entrance of a another beautiful new granddaughter into the world, :D I did manage to finish up my ladder load .35 Rems. Hornady LeverEvolution (LVR) powder in groups of five ranging from 37gr up to 41gr varying by .5gr increments...

= Verified with PV/Alliant customer service = Alliant to suspend canister powders significantly - Time for comparable powder substitutions again

Did me a little fuzzy math last night. I should have enough Unique to load around 4500 rounds. But that's not enough.

A bushing was added, yes. It works as a reverse gas ring keeping powder residue from fouling the recoil shield end of the axle pin.

No, it's actually a 'reverse gas ring'. Works good, too.

What have you done in the reloading room today

Well, I took a slight left turn. I had an unopened box of FTX bullets and an unopened pound of LVR that my son had given me for my birthday last year, and being as I haven't tried either, I decided to build a ladder load using both. Going by the load data on Hodgdon's website, I started at the...

Went down in the reloading room to set things up for loading up some .35 Remington. Discovered I have 3 boxes already loaded and ready to go, apparently done during covid. Harrumph.:(

This is devastating. All my handgun and some rifle loads were developed around Unique, and while I have a fair stockpile of it, I could run through it fairly quickly. The only powder I see consistently in stock lately is Accurate, and you have AA2 as a substitute for Unique in your listing. How...
