Yes! I love my no-dash 4" 586. I used to own a Trooper but sold it. It worked just fine, and it was more of a grip feel thing to me than anything else. The 586 fits my hand like a glove. I do have a special appreciation for Colts because of the Single Action Army, and I'll never sell my 1897...
