So, i'll be the first to admit my lack of knowledge when it comes to ghost rings, front sight height and the like.
I want to purchase and a set of clean looking ghost rings for it and the Williams WGRS looks nice but it raises questions.

Kel-Tec P3AT or Ruger equivalent. It's a .380 acp not a 9mm but just drops in the pocket, very convienent to carry. Remember you're not going to war, if you are then the AR 15 is a better choice.

Another vote for the Saiga in .308. Plenty round for a deer or larger. And if your state is anything like mine you can only have a a 5 round magazine when hunting...Fortunately they have those for the Saiga as well.

I wouldn't say excellent. The only exterior markings are on the top of the barrel about where the end of the scope would have sat. The jeweling is also worn quite a bit but the action is still smooth without a hitch. How hard is the bolt to remove so I can take a look at the barrel?
So far my choices are between a Vortex 6-24x50 Crossfire and a Nikon Prostaff 4x32. Both scopes are right at a hundred dollars. This will be going on a Stevens Model 200 in .308 for mainly deer. And I highly doubt my shots will be over a 100 yards.
Or does anyone know of a better scope for...
