I have some white leds sitting around. I was just going to zip tie a light to the leg like crimp said and use a piece of small alum to position the angle.
Awesome, that exactly want I was looking for.
I've loaded the shorter one this week with 15.6 gr of 2400 with an oal of 1.60 which is the top groove. When I looked up more data I found some published 18-20 gr of 2400 while others published 15 - 16 gr of 2400 for the same round without a clear...
Im want to use the lower cannulure in my ruger blackhawk. I did a test and it fits in my cylinder well.
Just looked up headspacing. Completely wrong term. Sorry about that :o
I want to use the lower crimp line on bullet to try to decrease head spacing but can't find good data. Speers as 18 of 2400 and hornady has 15.6 of 2400 but the hornady data is for the top crimp line.
Size-o-matic cheap powder bushings
Just finished up some holiday machining in my workshop. I wanted to get a set of ponsness warren size-o-matic shotgun progressive powder bushings but the ponsness warren brand bushings are pretty expensive. Mec bushings are like $1.99 each.
Thee mec...
My range doesn't allow taking brass unless its your brass and since its a no cease fire range with electric target handlers if the brass goes to the range its lost forever. I use to go to San Gabriel gun club before they closed it down. I use to find AA hulls and tons of brass! Unlucky for me I...
Thanks since I started on this forum my powder list is now has gone up. I usually get 800x and 700x for shotgun and just bullseye and 2400 for pistols and revolvers. Now I added unique & w231.
I really wanted to try W231. Might have to run down to the gun show this weekend and grab a pound. I currently use xtreme 230 gr rn plated with 4.8 gr bullseye.
I just received 500 starlines. Really nice quality brass. I like the feel during resizing and primering a lot more. That could be because the Hornady is the same name but a little different especially ones with a light bevel along the bottom. Thanks for the recommendations.
I was thinking about getting a .44 mag lever action. From what I heard handguns seem easier on the brass and never need trimming, but if shot in a rifle its a different story.
I've seen Starline before. I reload all Winchester for my 45 acp, but I was really considering Starline since they have some good reviews. I got some Starline on the way. Can't wait to try them out.
Its like you read my mind
I tested a 7.5" SBH .44 magnum at 15 yards standing. I can tell a good amount of difference, but since I'm new this SA I couldn't tell it poor groupings were cause by how I used the gun or really bad loads. The benches at my range are only 6 inches long so hopefully i...
I just just started reloading to. I found that a bullet puller was useful at first. Especially setting the bullet depth.
I also just ordered a Speer #14 manual since Extreme bullets recommended their data for their plated bullets.
