    Need opinion on Raging Bull

Had a 6" 44 Magnum that I traded to my dad (kept it in the family) because I got a 4" 629. Loved the Raging Bull and maintained first right of refusal if he ever wants to part with it.

Introducing your kids to firearms and firearm safety

First, I started off with a BB Rifle in the back yard. Teach the 4 rules, gain an understanding of the sight picture. Moved up to pellets. Once he was hitting the target consistently and was able to be responsible during every moment of the range session, it was time. He's 8 years old and...

    Rock Island Tactical Questions

RIA offers a black dura coat finish. That is probably what you are seeing listed as "black matte".

    New Colors

Blue and green? Now you've done it. It is no longer an Evil Black Rifle and therefore not scary. Because of that it is also no longer considered an assault weapon. Good job!

    1911 Grips

That is correct. I can get measurements for you, if you'd like. The left side also needs relief cuts for the bolt on plunger tube.

Hate to put this out there, but LLAMA grips would be nice. The screw spacing is different.

    Walther SP22

CDNN has the 6" on sale for $200 and I figured if I could get a good review, then I might give it a shot. But I don't like being the guinea pig, either. I see them for sale everywhere, but nobody walking out with them. At this point, I'll pass. Thanks, everyone!

    Walther SP22

Thank you. However, the question was not of the P22, but the SP22.

    Walther SP22

Got bit by the .22 bug lately. Picked up a Ruger SR22p for plinking fun, and a Beretta U22 Neos with a 6" Barrel that I LOVE. However, I am intrigued by the elephant man that is the Walther SP22. I would most likely go for the 6" variation. What do you think? What are your thoughts...

    Thoughts on a Remington 799

Wow, thanks for the great (and quick!) replies. Seems that I may want to pass on this one, especially since I was going to use it as a hunting rifle. Thanks again, everyone!

    Thoughts on a Remington 799

What are your thoughts on the rifle mentioned above? Bolt action, walnut stock. Chambered in 7.62x39. I cannot find much information on them and have an opportunity to pick one up. What's the going price? This one is in great shape. Thanks in advance...
