Barrel bending to adjust POI is very common. There are some top gunsmiths out there who have a favorite telephone pole or wooden post to "adjust" barrels on.
Benny Hill is one who comes to mind who uses this technique.
I would look at something in 30-06 of 308 ammo availability is easy with these calibers (most gas stations in AK are likely to have ammo).
Other than that get something you are comfortable using and practice, practice, practice!!!!! If you get in a pinch and have to use the gun to save your...
I have a CR speed belt. Its very comfortable and much easier to get all of your stuff situated where you want it.
I have Bladetech holsters and mag pounches for my single stack rig, I like the Bladetech stuff with techlocs (you can remove items without taking off your whole belt).
What type of competition's are you shooting? If you shooting USPSA or any of the other fast paced gun games learn to shoot both eyes open and you will get this sorted out in a hurry.
If you talking about the longer range rifle sports I would look at buying rifles for a lefty and learning to...
Any major manufactures rifles should suit your needs. If you want a top notch ubber accurate rifle I would look at having a custom build done by a top tier gunsmith.
PSA is a reseller, they hire other machine shops to make parts for them to sell. BCM is a machine shop, they make parts in house and there quality/quality control is top notch.
I would consider everything they do to be superior to PSA.
Considering its a stock part, i doubt you are going to easily determine a value. You might be able to watch gunbroker a bit and come up with a reasonable price.
Yep they should be safe to use assuming you aren't loading exceeding max published data.
As always start low and work up 10% at a time. Look for signs of pressure (flattened, bulged, or blown primers) and you should be gtg.
So you have little to no reloading experience, your reloading ammo for others at or above published maximum loads? What your doing is seriously dangerous!
License, yes you need a manufactures FFL in order to reload ammo and sell them. I will go ahead and forward this thread to the ATF, I am...
Where are you getting your brass?
Picking up 9mm can be a risky proposition at times. I shoot at a range which holds USPSA leagues. You gotta be careful not to pick up brass that has been shot in a 9mm open gun. Look for bulges at the base of the casing.
I am a huge fan of anything from Sideguard Holsters. I am a bit small to carry my 1911's IWB so I always carry mine in an OWB configuration Safariland is my favorite.
Very cool! I am patiently waiting for my FFL to receive a Heizer. I would really like one of the ported ones but will settle for a smooth sided one if I have to.
Wally - I can see the value of finding a suppressor that can be fully disassembled for cleaning. However my 45 lead loads don't lead the barrel don't see you they would deposit any lead in the suppressor.
I am getting ready to relocate back to my home state of SD from the state of MN (where no suppressors are allowed).
I am looking to get started with a can in 45acp as most of my handguns are this caliber and it can be used for my 9mm's as well.
I have it narrowed down to a AAC- TiRant...
