I am working to streamline my range bag and stuff I take to the range. I think super man would struggle to lift my range bag. I was thinking about using ziplock bags to take my 9mm and .38 spl ammo in my bag and and extra to bring my brass back. .
What do you take ammo to the range in.
The ranch hand.
I have a Ranch hand like you. I plan on keeping mines and getting a R92 carbine in 38 357.
It's actually on layaway at Buds. I saw the SBR ranch hand and would love on in a few years.
I just got my Ranch hand also.
You know you can use the same parts to slick up the ranch hand that work on the R92.
I am about to do a few things to mines. First I am going to use tru oil on the stock and short the mag spring and add a metal follower.
In a tread about range bags a lotta people seem to keep Squib rods to deal with them. In all my years of shooting I must have been lucky so far. I have yet to have a squib. If you had one was it from a reload or factory ammo?
What do you guys use the zip ties for?. I also noticed a lot of people have squib rods in their bags.
I am not sure if I am lucky but in all my years of shooting I have never had a squib.
And just beacuse I said that guess what I will most likely get soon. Lol.
I am getting back in to shooting after a long illness and I wanna setup a good range bag to make my trips more organized and easier. I picked up a bag at Academy sporting goods
I know I need some type of mesh bag to keep my used brass. Ammo boxes I am shooting revolvers so no need for...
This is from their site. When I ordered it it showed 45.00 sales price. You save 134.99
They have fixed it now. I actually kinda expected it to be a factory second or something like that for 45.00. But it was new. I give them credit for honoring the price.
List Price: $179.99
Price: $134.99...
How about this The Rossi 851 about 250.00 just put it on layaway from Bud's and free shipping and mo sales tax.
Mines shoots like a dream and looks great.
Due to major illness the last two years I had not been able to do any shooting and my reloading space was kidnapped lol.
So I was looking for a portable bench. Well I was checking prices and saw the Frankford Arsenal bench. Well looking for a deal I saw prices from 180 down to 148.00 which I was...
I took her to the range today 11-13-2015.
I did something I had never did before with a new gun I cleaned the outside but no wash with gun scrub.
Well when i was loading her the first time the rounds went in very tight. i was thinking oh no.
Well after the second reload they went in great.
As I get older I realize something I heard is true. People who are unhappy with a product tend to tell everybody on the other hand the happy users dont.
Is it just me or do some companies get really bad press for no good reason.
Don't buy Rossi or Tarus stuff it's cheap Brazilian stuff. You need S&W
Oh don't buy HiPoint it's junk.
Oh you looking for trouble if you get a Lee press they are junk ,Get you a Rcbs.
Kinda funny when you hear...
I loved the comment about people just assuming good or lower price equals junk.
I shoot the Rossi 851. I love it. I owned and shoot the Tarus 9m a Lotta years ago. Loved that gun..
It seems most negative Rossi comments are from the I heard never owned people..
The only relovers I have used are what many might call cheap or no name.
My grand daddy would let me shoot his old 38 revolver that had to have been older than me.
I shoot and love my Rossi Revolvers and in cowboy action I use Ruger vaquero's.
Name and value wise Colts and Smith & Wesson...
