My pet hunting load for my ruger redhawk 5 1/2 barrel is 20 gr. of 2400, win large pistol standard primer and win brass and 240 gr xtp's. Have not cronographed it but it will shoot through a whitetail deer at 69 yards, (lazered the distance) I'm picky with my shots and am 6 for 6 so far.

Thanks in advance for the help. I can get a colt army 38 that looks good and is really tight. BUT the forcing cone is cracked from the rear edge forward to the frame and it is also mushroomed enough to keep you from unscrewing the barrel. Is this fixable or a wall hanger?

Going to try to cast my own bullets. How do I prepair wheel weights all the way from pulling old ones off the rim to making ingots to store the lead. And are there wheel weights to avoid? Talk slow and use little words I'm new to casting. Thanks in avance.
