police have to fire my gun?

Once-fired casing... My last (and only registered) pistol was a S&W that came with a once-fired casing in a sealed envelope with the explanation on the outside that it was to be given to authorities when required by local laws. So I proceeded to give it to myself to reload as I was the only...

Smith & Wesson Sigma Series Trigger FIX!!! (SW9VE, SW40VE)

9 mm or .40...? I, personally, prefer the 9 mm as there are a lot more reloading choices and the mag capacity is more. However, the choice is yours to make and either one will serve you well...!:D

Smith & Wesson Sigma Series Trigger FIX!!! (SW9VE, SW40VE)

Academy.com Sigma... Yup, Kelman, that's the baby and it's a great price (same as what I paid at Bud's Gun Shop 6 months ago). Hope they still have it at that price as I think that S & W still has the $50 rebate or 2 extra mags...! Sweet...!

Smith & Wesson Sigma Series Trigger FIX!!! (SW9VE, SW40VE)

Sigma bashers... I'm starting to think there are a few posters on this forum that are only interested in bashing the Sigma. I think it rude of them to do so as I don't sign on to another forum just to bash the type of gun they're discussing. Almost all types and brands of pistols have issues or...

    Once used 40 brass

Look for a good deal on a large amount of new ammo (with reloadable brass casings) and shoot it all up...! By then you'll be a better shot and you'll have a bunch of once-fired brass to reload...!

    223 brass

Don't buy new brass...! I would find a good deal on brand new .223 (5.56mm) ammo (with reloadable brass casings, of course) and shoot the hell out of that Mini-14. Then you have a bunch of once-fired brass that you can reload. I've had a Mini-14 since 1976 (200th year of Liberty commemorative)...

    Anyone else keep their guns?

Never sold any of my guns (so far)...! I currently own many guns (rifles, shotguns, revolvers, semi's) and can honestly say that I've never sold a gun that was my own. I used to have an FFL so I sold quite a few guns that were not actually mine. I did have an old lever action BB gun (rifle)...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Humbling experience... I must agree with "hans471" and say that I am humbled by the elaborate and extensive reloading benches posted here. I think I have the same problem that "hans471" has... too many hobbies...! I've been reloading for over 35 years and still use an old single-stage RCBS...

    Help IDing brass...

Headstamp ID The SB-T stands for "Empresa Nacional Santa Barbara de Industrias Militares, SA Toledo, Spain" and, yes, I would surmise the "77" stands for 1977. As far as the 7-6 goes, are you sure it's not 7.6...? I agree with the others that say "measure the case" and then compare it to your...

Smith & Wesson Sigma Series Trigger FIX!!! (SW9VE, SW40VE)

Smith & Wesson Sigma 9 Geez, you guys are tough on newbies...! I've been watching (not posting to) this forum for quite some time, now, and find lots of interesting info posted to it. However, I must put in my 2-cents worth on the Sigma. I have been shooting and reloading for over 35 years and...
