sounds like Hex screws are the way to go. Has this helped with just the Sigs, or do you guys use them on almost all of your grips.

My Sig just has the big head screws (I guess), no washers. My Beretta has a tendency to make the magazine stick if I tighten the screws too much, so I was going easy with the Sig. Has tightening the grip screws ever caused a problem on Sigs, or is it okay to tighten them as much as possible?
