This is what my H&R classic carbine 45 Colt will do at 50 yards. Didn't know if the load data was allowed so blanked it out. That's 5 shots in each target
Don't know if it is me or the gun but that fifth shot is always a little outside the group. That big heavy bullet just doesn't know how to...
Don't know where people come up with this nonsense. 45 Colt brass is just as stout as 44 magnum brass. I guess people who bought a 45 colt in the Ruger Blackhawk or Redhawk had to look for 454 Casull brass before they could shoot their Ruger only loads. As for the H&R 45 Colt, it will handle...
These kind of Bills flood in every year. Even if it does come to the floor and passed in the Democrat controlled House, it will never see daylight in the Senate.
I understand what you say about having to obey the state laws of the state you are in...that is a given. What you are saying is probable true, after all you live there and know better than I. But, when a state like Texas simply states they have a reciprocity agreement with states like...
That bill hasn't even come up for a vote according to what I've read. I don't think even Oregon is stupid enough to let a group of High School kids write their laws...but, one never knows do they.
I've only seen open carry in town a couple times but remember that at present anyone that open carries has to have a permit. Those that go through the process of obtaining a permit are interested in concealed carry. Once the law changes I suspect some will do open carry just for show.
No disrespect intended but you're posting incorrect information. Pull up the Oklahoma bill and read it before making such comments that are not correct. An 18 year old cannot carry open or concealed and never could. The Constitution also gives states the right to make their own laws not...
Your friend is wrong...Some 22's such as the TEC-22 are banned but your Ruger 10/22, Marlin model 60 and others are perfectly legal. This thread in this link lists what is banned. http://illinoiscarry.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=66426
The 26th amendment doesn't establish anyone as a adult...it simply and plainly establishes a 18 year old the right to vote...nothing else. The difference in the learning gap from 18 to 21 is the reason most states have a drinking age set at 21. That three year learning curve into adulthood is...
Being a Okie I'm glad to see this become law. However I do have concerns about the open carry, especially inside city limits. Personally I think it is dumb to open carry as you become the first target of a shooter but my concern mostly is I think some individuals will open carry for all the...
Here is one of the best deals I know of for loaded 22 Hornet ammo. http://www.sgammo.com/product/22-hornet-ammo/50-round-box-22-hornet-45-grain-soft-point-prvi-partizan-ammo-pp20 50 rounds of loaded 22 Hornet ammo is outstanding in my opinion. One thing though...prvi brass is harder than...
Very true and I would add that that is surface hardened. Don't have to take off much to give you that 3# pull you desire but as time goes on that pull will eventually get down dangerously low. Be careful.....
This recall is for triggers installed from 2006 to 2014. Guns manufactured after 2014 do not have the same trigger and guns before 2006 certainly don't.
My understanding is the scopes are set at the factory for 20/20 vision to bring the cross hairs into focus. The focus whether fast focus or lock ring type on the eye focus, does nothing more than to allow one to put the cross hairs into focus for their eyesight. Has nothing to do with parallax...
No one said you shouldn't. Point is that all military brass is not as much less capacity as some want to make it out to be. Military brass does have less capacity than most commercial brass....that's most, not all. Anyone with two working brain cells knows you reduce the charge weight and...
I said capacity wise.......not weight of the brass. Look at the capacity amounts and yes it works out to 1.5-3.0 grains of powder reduced, depending on the brass. As you can see there is only 2.0 grains difference between the Winchester and LC brass.
Had the same problem and discovered the...
I know this is a older post but thought I'd add some testing I did today with some 7.62mm military brass I just received. Only commercial brass I had was Winchester 308 so that was my standard for comparison.
Winchester weighed 160 grains and had a water capacity of 59.8 grains.
Lake City...
