I was fortunate enough to buy my first handgun in 1997...a new 6" stainless GP-100 with the full shroud for a whopping $369 plus tax.
It is built like a tank and then some. It will never be sold (heck, I suspect I could sell it for more than I paid 17 years ago). If you want a bulletproof...
I picked up a Colt 6920-FDE at one of the local Wal Marts about 6 weeks ago. I had only seen ONE AR at the stores since December (was a Colt Socom for $1500.....not in the cards). It is funny, since I picked up my 6920, I have not been to Wal Mart when they did NOT have at least 2 ARs in the...
I cringe every time I hear "living wage." Wal Mart pays what the market dictates. I am not sure exactly how much cashiers/baggers/stockers should make. As one's skill/value level increases, you make more money.
Should McDonald's pay burger flippers $17/hour?
I saw a Colt 6920 at a local Wal Mart last Friday morning. A few weeks ago, the price tag at Wal Mart for one was $1097. Now it is $1497.
I wonder what the prices will be on the Sigs and Windham Weaponry 5.56s when they get any of those.
I bought a Springfield Loaded last summer. I was looking at that and the Range Officer mostly (they were the same price). I looked at a few others but decided on the Loaded. I love it. It makes me look like a much better shot than I really am.
You purchased a new gun. It should look new. I would send it back. I understand that a gun will get banged up, scratched, etc. BUT, for the cost of a new gun, the owner should be the one banging up his or her gun.
Congratulations. My 1st gun was a 6" SS GP-100. I researched quite a bit and ordered exactly what I wanted. I love the gun and will have it forever.
enjoy.
I am proud to say my 1st handgun purchase was a new stainless GP 100, 6", full shroud, adjustable sights
Bought it brand new for $369 plus tax back in the summer of 1997. I love this gun and strongly recommend it.
