Is lawsuit immunity for trigger locks worth it?
Actually, California has an exemption for the cable/trigger lock requirements for owners of gun safes or DOJ-certified lockboxes. (Wal-mart cheapie gun cabinet is certified). So if you buy the $80 cabinet, you don't have to buy the otherwise-required lock. But there's also a glut of free cable...
