    Budget US made snubbie

All steel guns are great just real heavy for pocket carry. I have a Ruger SP101 that is way tooo heavy but perfect on the belt. I have a Smith 438 which is lighter but I like it too much to pocket carry. I use a Ruger LCR in the pocket or on belt. So light you really forget it's there. I...

    Colt-style DA's?

I have one of the Armscor M200 revolvers. It's a near identical copy of the Colt Diamondback. The cylinder release is identical to the Colt. They are made under license from Colt. Of course, the materials used are not Colt quality steel. The revolver uses MIM parts to reduce cost. Overall...

    Shurefire E2D on an Airplane

I carry mine in my carry-on laptop bag, no issues. If I am concerned that an item that I am carrying on may not be acceptable, I carry a self addressed stamped envelope. You may lose your place in line to mail it but you will not lose your expensive item. Just a thought.

Difficult time shooting Glock 19 accurately.. tips?

I find I have to use a slightly different head position with the G19. I found that if you take up the trigger creep before final squeeze it will tighten up the group. It does take a bit of getting used too. The grip angle doesn't bother me but the grip is much blockier than most of my other...

    Ruger P85

I read this thread last night and dug my P85 out of the safe today. I don't shoot it much anymore but I would never part with it. I have shot thousands of rounds through the years. It faithfully ate everything I fed it. It isn't pretty, it's chunky to hold, it's over built to withstand more...

    remove bluing????

Muriatic acid diluted 1-10 with distilled water. Takes about 10 seconds to deblue. Just rinse with water after the acid bath. I've used that method for big jobs for years.

    Makarov.

I outlined my Mak sights with paint. I took a drill bit and milled a small shallow hole. I did a base coat of white then painted over with fluorescent yellow. I capped it off with a drop of superglue. It does help with target acquisition but is still small for my taste.

Just Bought My First Gun, Glock 19

I think you'll be surprised at how clean it is after shooting. My biggest adjustment after buying my G19 was that I would shoot low and left. The grip is a bit blockier than I was used too. The only "upgrades" I have done is add Tritium night sights, replaced recoil spring with a new...

    Arsenal Markarov

Yes, $195 is a good price. These little gems have become scarce and more expensive in the last couple of years. I got mine for $120 and it is one of the best pistols I have. I carry it regularly in the summer with 95gr. hollow points. Great design, only 27 parts. More Accurate than me. I'm...

Wher can I get low cost 9 mm ammo

+1 on Walmart's. I usually purchase my range ammo there. For carry ammo I have had good experience's with www.sportsmansguide.com/ if you buy in bulk and use a coupon code (search google for them) you can make out okay.

No such thing as "utterly reliable".....is there?

Tap, rack and bang...expect malfunctions, train for them. All things can go wrong at the exact time you need them. You should make malfunctions part of your shooting routine. Then if it does happen you are well prepared for it.
