thats right pat. I don't want to sound like the sky is falling, but ii'm afraid that if they feel like they can't go after the guns, then they'll just make it impossible to shoot them by going after the ammo.

i have had good luck at walmarts, they just don't happen often enough. i score ammo about once, maybe twice a month there. but i have to say moon, on those rare occasions, i may have a sack of ammo weighing me down, but i am walking tall outta the store!

as one poster said earlier, its hard to come across reloading components as well. i have been buying when i can but thats not too often around here. i am seeing more and more stock come in, but it still does't sit on the shelves. it could always be worse.

i currently use a colander that i stole from my wifes kitchen cabinet. it gets most of the media out, but since i mostly do 223 cases, you still have to make sure each case is empty. this is my way and i am not recommending it as the fastest and cleanest way. not to hijack the thread, but...

i made the mistake of leaving my thermacell at home one time when i was hunting near a swamp... i had to kindly ask the skeeters to put me down. i never go to the woods without it. sorry, i know this isnt a thermacell thread... just shoot enough arrows where you aren't wearing yourself out...

a good choke will help drastically. i use a jelly-head and have killed turkey stone cold dead past 50 yards. i usually let them get closer but there are some times you just have to kill 'em when they're on out there and a good turkey choke makes that a real possibility no just a lucky chance.

i usually pull my bow out around august (our season starts october 15) and then i'll shoot 3 or 4 times a week. for bow hunting, a thermacell is a must... they work hands down

thanks to you guys i just got one. i was out looking for ammo and came across a kershaw tactical pen. i got it, now i just have to remember to keep it on me. i don't usually carry pens around, and when i do, i seem to loose them. we'll see how it goes.
