I have a 12 gauge model 335 marked (J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co), this gun was made before 1920 (production was 1912 to 1930). There is no marking on the barrel what the chamber length is. Does anyone know?
I inherited my Pap J Stevens model 335 SxS shotgun from 1909, I want to convert it into a legal Short barrel shotgun with pistol grip.
Is this a bad idea?
Was just thinking of making it usable, since I don't hunt. Wanted to make it a HD shotgun. It currently has a 30 in barrel.
I just found out I inherited a shotgun from my grandfather. He passed away years ago but my uncle in Florida removed the guns from his house when my pap wasn't "himself". So in october my uncle is bringinh up to Pittsburgh his old shotgun.
I know it's not a high-dollar gold plated engraved...
So I'm in the market for a very small decent 9mm.
The point is I want to be able to put it in my pocket sometimes.
Looking at kel-tec PF9, Diamondback DB9, Kahr PM9. Well I wasn't looking too hard at the PM9 because of price. But then I saw there was a used one. I think I can get it for $525...
What should I be aware of? What to look out for? Or should I just enjoy the food, drinks and the possibility of winning a gun?
I hear there is a lot of side raffles and 50/50's. So extra cash should be taken I guess.
It is at the Lawrence County Fair, north of Pittsburgh,PA.
I am relatively new to gun ownership. But for the past couple months when I go shooting, I am actually looking forward to cleaning the guns. Seems kinda weird, because I don't like to clean anything.
But when I'm cleaning a gun and I'm all alone, it is calming and satisfying when it is all...
Went out with my "new to me" Taurus snub nose 606 357 revolver. Had a blast shooting this hand cannon. Was shooting at beer cans on a friends land and cut a tree down. It was awesome!
