    Colt Official Police "Commando"

    The Colt Commando revolver shown in the phot is an obvious refinish. Never saw an original in other then the 'parkerized' finish. Had plenty of thes in our shop next to NYC Police HQ during the 1950's. They were used extensivly in NYC PD, mostly in 4" barrel.
