Yesterday I bought my first 1911. Got it home loaded up, pulled the slide back and it stopped. Played with it for a while and figured out when I stack 6 in it works fine. The mag is a Mec-Gar. What's your thought? Also what are some good quality mags?

I found on a website a parts kit http://www.centerfiresystems.com/drakit.aspx and a receiver. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/DRAREC-ROM.aspx If I would buy both of these and brought them to a gunsmith, would I have all the pieces? I think the only thing I don't see is a mag.
