Ruger LC9 First Impressions and Pics....

Thanks for this report. For the price it's a hard 9mm to knock. I suppose time and carry abuse will determine its reliability and durability too.

    Which for CCW?

S&W 642 hands down. Well powered cartridge. Tons of holster options. Easily concealed. LOTS of variations available for grips, revolver reliability, etc. 2nd choice if size isn't an option, Glock 23. Love the 40 S&W, love glock simplicity and reliability. PLUS shot capacity and accuracy.

    Kimber vs springer

Kimber. Though I'd be fine with either. Have had 4 Kimbers, never a problem with the block safety or anything else for that matter. Know some guys with feed issues related to the ramp needing a good polishing. Never problems after that.

    Press Lube

+2 on Rem oil. I also use Jig-a-loo. Saw it advertised in a G&A mag a while back and decided to pick some up for my bicycle. Works incredible and repels dirt and grime too. I'd steer clear of spraying it inside if at all possible. It's a headache waiting to happen.

Hornady XTP vs Remington Golden Saber in .380

I had feed problems with the Remingtons in my wife's Ruger LCP. So I stuck with the Hornady Critical Defense for her and the TAP for myself. Both use the XTP I believe. I prefer the penetration through clothing etc thanks to the weak but concealable 380 option. She carries the Hornady CDs now...

Just trying to understannd your reasoning 9mm+... You're saying there aren't jerks or there are LESS jerks in every other industry? Particularly the restaurant industry because there is a larger customer base and heavy competition? Having worked in the restaurant industry AND frequenting...

Wouldn't you say this is EVERY industry? As long as people are in charge there's bound to be a few jerks here and there.

Hi everyone. This is an awesome site. It's come up in a ton of my google searches but I've finally bit the bullet (pun intended) and joined up. I've had the privilege of shooting just about everything with a projectile my entire life and love every aspect of it. Just launched a new site a...
