What is the last gun that you bought?

Recently picked up the Century Arms RAS-47, EAA Windicator .357 and a Ruger American Pistol 9mm. So far, money well spent. All three have been solid, accurate and fun.

    whats with spray and pray?

I gotta admit, I'm with the OP on this. I dislike watching guys show up with 10K worth of tricked out ARs and then burn through $100 of ammo in 15-minutes, mostly missing their 50-yard targets by 20-yards. Just as I'd laugh at a guy with a high-end Porsche doing donuts in the HS parking lot. I...

Small inexpensive 380's, which Inexpensive model

I have owned/carried the P3AT, LCP, BG, Bersa, Walther, with the Taurus TCP being my current .380. I picked it up new for $184 (1-mag). It's my favorite. nice trigger, fits my hand ok (w/mag ext), recoil is firm, but managed, better then expected accuracy, for a bargain price. All are fine firearms.

    I can't believe revolver prices.

Maybe give Taurus, EEA and/or RIA more consideration. Depends on what you consider important, but I've found considerable value in these firearms. I enjoy shooting them.

Small inexpensive 380's, which Inexpensive model

The Taurus TCP is a pretty nice pocket .380 and maybe the only $200 gun. The others are significantly over $200.

What is the last gun that you bought?

Taurus UL 85 Picked this up recently. Loved the way the grips felt. Put a mixture of FMJ, LRN and +P JHP down ranges this afternoon. Loved it. The +P was a little sharp, but quite tolerable. I look forward to shooting this little snubbie a lot more. Also put a Taurus TCP on layaway.

Pocket 380 that's fun to shoot?

I really liked the Bersa Thunder CC, but ultimately decided it was too heavy for pocket carry. I've enjoyed the Kel-Tec P32 more then any other true pocket gun. It's very comfortable, especially with the 10-rd magazine.

    Kel-Tec as carry pistol? Opinions?

The P-32 is one of my favorites. It's just so damn easy to carry. Mine has been very reliable, easy shooting and surprisingly accurate. The hardest thing is finding ammo locally. I've carried the PF-9, P-11 and P3AT. I had reliability issues with the PF-9. I didn't like the trigger on the P-11...

Lot's of new Striker fired pistols out

The Ruger LC9s has my attention. I've have a SR9c and LC9 w/Viridian green laser. I would be very happy if these fine firearms mated.

Was thinking of Tech Sight for SKS, but...

I'm very pleased with the Tech Sights on my Norinco SKS. They were easy to install and have remained zero'd for the two years I've had them-even after cleaning. Best SKS option I've tried.

12 year old Grandson wants to start pistol shooting

My son, a few days from 15 now, really liked the single six much more then any .22LR auto had I when he first started shooting with me (5-years ago). He didn't like (and still doesn't) the flying brass. Now he'll shoot my GP100 as much as he can, but won't finish a magazine from a 9mm. On the...

Keep your eyes open when entering/leaving a shooting range...

Unfortunately, there has been a deadly incident at the public range I used to shoot at. http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-373815.html More recently the brass rat at this same range was arrested for murder. He was a consistent presence at the range, so much so that I always felt...

Have you ever liked a gun so much, that you bought second copy?

Yes. Ruger 10/22, Super Redhawk, SR9c, Mosin Nagant, SKS, NAA-Mini. Will add GP100 soon.

where do you keep your shotgun at night?

Loaded, w/buckshot, in a locked closet. EDC on night stand beside me. I live in a very safe, friendly, old-school-kids walk in and out of friend's houses, neighborhood. And the wife won't let me keep a long gun under the bed, though she's cool with the pistol. :)

Have a Beer at the Range

    Beer & bowling-Heck yeah! Beer & darts-OK. Beer & Cornhole-I'm there. Never beer & firearms.

Why is the SKS so Underated, Plenty for hunting

The SKS is my favorite centerfire rifle. It's cheap to purchase ($250-$300). 7.62x39 is cheap & easy to find & suitable for many tasks. The rifle is simple, reliable, fun. I've added Tech Sights to my Norinco and it's plenty accurate for the proletariat. However, there are "better" rifles in...

What is the last gun that you bought?

Ruger LC9 I picked up a Ruger LC9 w/viridian green laser a couple of weeks ago. I've put 400-rounds through it w/o issue. Using the Crossbreed Mini-Tuck holster. I'm very pleased.

As you grew up, how did you avoid siding with anti-gun thinking?

I grew up with mixed attitudes towards firearms. My parents grew up with firearms in their households, but did not have guns in their home. I was not allowed to get a BB gun. However, I was allowed, even encouraged, to go shooting with uncles & cousins, shoot at summer camp, join the "Junior...

    Which NAA Mini Revolver?

I have the sidewinder convertible. I carry the .22wmr cylinder, but use the .22lr more at the range (economy). I had a BW that I liked a lot, but foolishly let get away. The sidewinder is easier to reload with the swing out cylinder, but it is still not "quick".

    Whats your favorite Spring/Summer Carry

NAA Sidewinder .22wmr or Ruger SR9c.
