New turret press under development with 3/4/5/6 configuration turrets

Update: Lee sent a new (plastic assembly), which was very easy to install and now my UTP with the 6 hole turret is running as it should. My range partner and usually average 100 rounds every other week, and I have plenty of time to reload [even at 6 strokes per round] to be ready for the next...

New turret press under development with 3/4/5/6 configuration turrets

Now there is a question than I cannot answer for sure. Most everything that I have had or currently have has been Lee, however there were a couple of RCBS presses. I will root around in my 'spares' container and see what I can find. Thanks again for the suggestion.

New turret press under development with 3/4/5/6 configuration turrets

I tried your suggestion and it seems that 'joining' is as it is supposed to be. The more I use it the better it gets, it is probably a wear in sort of thing, plus I have a set of jewelers files ans have been slowly smoothing all of the wear surfaces. Thank you for your help.

New turret press under development with 3/4/5/6 configuration turrets

I've been working on my new UTP priming. I have smoothed the edges of the primer arm, the sides of the slot and it is getting better, after watching it closely I see that the top of the cup is hitting on the bottom of the shell holder and preventing a full return to the 'open' position. The...

    Log Book? Necessary?

I have been using Lyman's Reloaders Data Log for many years, The only thing is, I forget to put the results from 'Range day', but I do save my targets or photograph them and recently started using 'Reloaders Workshop' (still learning all of it) and I can record targets in there. It is kind of...

    Lee 6000 press

My primer shute agitation pin moves in and out slightly. I have pushed back into place a couple of times. What would happen if I put a little drop of super glue on it to keep it in place? I am hesitant to do this because of the proximity to the primers. I do not want to plug anything up.

Lee Pro 6000 unboxing and testing for OAL consistency

Well now I have a real problem, I am out of bullets. So out to the casting, powder coating table in the garage and get busy. After getting all the updatied parts installed my SPP is running perfectly. I am waiting on the new primer pin just to have it (just in case). I need to bone up on...

    Lee 6000 press

New Help please: i have a powder check die in station #3. If I move the powder dispenser to station #3 ( i have used the Lee Auto drum long enough to totally trust it), to avoid spilling powder down on the primer pin, is there anything I can use station #2 for, or just leave it blank?
