Ugh. If you want a working manual safety and don't want to buy yet another glock then the taurus g3c is a good pickup, although probably not my first choice. I have a pt111 g2 mill pro and the only issues I've ever had was with running steel case out of some trash aftermarket 15 rd mag. I've...
If I could only have 1 today? Probably stay with my taurus gx4. It's the only carry pistol I've owned with no rust issues (glock gen2, hk usp, shield, etc all ended up with rust). Not my first choice for "fun" shooting. A cz p01 would be more shootable/less concealable although I don't about...
The EAA 10mm cz clones are good pistols, especially after they went to dual spring guide rods. They are on the pricey side and aren't that common. I don't have a problem with Taurus (I even carry one) but for something like 10mm I would want "something extra" on the quality and accuracy side...
As long as it stays reliable, and it has, i have no problem with my taurus gx4. I'd also have zero problems with a shield+ for the same duty, although I did have roll pin and rear sight rust issues with my original shield.
I would pick a cz p07 but I think the size advantage of a wonder 9 more...
Gen2 glock 20 now with aftermarket barrel. Bought right at the beginning of the 90's AWB so i got it with full mags. Had a k-boom and sheared the mag release. Also unfortunately almost had my tshirt pull the trigger on me once. I only 'reactivated' it when kydex clip holsters became widely...
3xl motorcycle gloves (olympia only, other brands too small): last time i took my p3at out my trigger finger was bleeding because the thing is so small and jumps around. Yeah they are pretty good for what they are, as long as you can find ammo that feeds reliably and understand that they are...
I'm also in the p07 camp but I may replace it with a cz a01 ld after I determine how reliable it is. 19+1 with the added ability to blungeon anyone and anything to death. I'll have to decide if a separate flashlight is doable.
I have a pt111 g2 mill pro and it's very good, but not as good as the gx4. The gx4 feels more quality in the hand. Perhaps the g3c has improved that but I can't say. For the price the g3c is hard to beat.
Don't accept reasons and must work all seasons. Guess that's why I carry a 642.
Yeah, sorry, no. Semi autos worst case you get one shot off. With revolvers something as simple as pocket lint can make it so that you never even get a single shot off.
My take is that the best all arounder pistol needs to balance comfort of shooting and comfort of conceal carry.
I'll personally take the shield plus for this category. Small enough to carry but large enough to shoot comfortably and is accurate for its size. The girls in my family pretty much...
I keep one loaded on me at all times. I have another in a safe in a drawer next to the bed that I don't lock. Other things I might have like rifles I have the mags separate but available.
The claim was equal performance but reviewers like Paul Harrell showed that the round is not only less effective but also much more expensive and not nearly as available. It's a solution looking for a problem.
Your glock 20 will handle 40s&w just fine so don't buy a 40s&w next, or if you feel you must buy a 40 barrel. With 357 sig, just rebarrel the glock 20. Aside from their 10mm offerings I'm really not a glock fan. I guess the glock 19 is iconic, the glock 26 might be more flexible. Both...
