So I went back to the range the next day and the same thing was going on even though I put the large grip on the gun. I was getting pretty frustrated. I was shooting right at 10, 15 and 25 feet.
Then I noticed that when I would start firing a new group, my first round would go center, then the...
no - no glasses. Wish I did, then I could blame that but it sounds like my form is messing me up.
I'm going to pay attention to my supporting hand more today, might be squeezing too hard and pulling it right.
5-shot group roughly 1.5" at 25 feet. Every now and then I'll have a few flyers where I don't squeeze the trigger right. But for the most part, I wind up with a big hole after 10 rounds.
I am holding the gun as the picture above shows. I was also thinking it could be the grip - I was using the...
I'm a lefty. Just bought a new Smith & Wesson M&P 9C, put about 300 rounds through it so far.
I am consistently shooting 1.5" right with the gun. I have a hard believing it's my form because it's so consistent. Also aiming 1.5" left of center results in center shots. However my brother, who...
It won't be a problem for long...I tried to find the key last night - no luck. I've got a couple more places to check, but I doubt this cabinet is long for this world. Can't believe that key isn't on my keyring.
Aw crap guys - NM...These are the keys for my laptop lock at work.
Which means I don't know where the keys are for my gun safe...NOT good lol!
Anyway NM.
yea, neither of the 2 keys work and both appear to be perfectly formed. I'm guessing the lock has either expanded or oxidized out in the garage.
Hopefully if it comes down to it I can drill the lock out...I've got about 9 guns in there!
So I went out to the garage tonight and tried to open my Sentinel gun cabinet...my key won't work! It's the circular kind, not the normal key type of lock. It's like the center piece of the lock is too big for the center of the key.
Now it has been pretty warm in the garage, so I brought the...
IMO the "take" that guns are only meant to kill isn't too far from the truth - that is their purpose. But its a very limited scope of the rational to use firearms to kill and why.
Any anti that would use such a statement would be forgetting that the very freedom they have to say such a thing...
In Ohio you can't carry anywhere that alcohol is sold to be consumed on the premises. And I really, really believe that I would be prosecuted to the fullest extent even if I saved lives.
I live in Ohio and I have a firearm I'd like to sell. If buyer lives out of state and comes to my house for a private gun sale is he legal to take the gun out of state? I'm not a dealer and don't have a FFL or anything like that.
Private gun sales in Ohio are pretty much just make a deal. But...
haha! I'd expect nothing less from "CountGlockula" ! haha! Excellent!
Actually I was leaning towards the Glock - I like the design of the Beretta better, but I shoot the glock better (19 anyway; rented a beretta once - trigger takes some getting used to).
interesting - the only reason I put the G22 last was the size for concealed carry. I didn't put much emphasis on weight although that is indeed a factor.
A local gun store has police trades in all of the above models in 40 S&W except the 5906 which is 9mm. I haven't looked at them but I am trying to pick a favorite and need some opinions.
I'm carrying a Taurus 651 (5-shot .357 wheel gun) right now. It's a good rig for caliber, but I'm a bit...
ok, bumping this old post to the top - I've got a shop in town with some police trades on the 96D and I'm VERY interested.
Can anyone give some pros/cons or things to look for?? I've never checked over a police trade so I'm wondering if there's anything I can be aware of before I go look and...
