Not trying to get into your business but you can buy powders off the internet, I just bought 5lbs of true blue straight from the mfg couple of days ago. It is out there to be had, just have to look and only buy from well known places. I understand tho wanting to use what you have, it will work...
I like that, I would epoxy the floors with that kit for garage's, it seals the floor, makes it nice, cheap, and will stop sweating, super easy to clean up as well
I like it, looks like you made good use of the space! If I would change anything, it would be to take that clip on light off and put a led strip under that shelf and get way more light and less heat, wont bang your forehead on it either. I bought a 4' led strip light at walmart for $12 and you...
You are correct Sir, those lead bullets will flatten up nicely when hitting bone and will tear a swath through there and do the job just fine..... I have been shooting plain lead projectiles for years out of 30-30, 45-70, .44mag etc... I have dropped so many animals with those, I lost count...
Just something to think about, I have had friends traveling through New York with their firearms completely out of reach and locked up get pulled over and searched and arrested because the magazines held more than 10 rounds. I guess think about what you are moving compared to what the laws are...
What I find really odd is that I have a few friends in Canada and when I talk to them about it, they start laughing. They say there is no shortage up there, they send me pictures of shelves full of primers and ammo and cheap too, like $20.00-30.00 per 1k. They tell me not to jump on that train...
I used to shoot a Ruger Super Blackhawk 10 1/2 Barrell .44mag in Silhouette (all open sights of course) and it would knock the steel ram down at 200 yards everytime if your shot placement was decent. A friend of mine used to do it with a .357mag ( i think his was a Dan Wesson)
When people quit buying the ammo at these ridiculously high prices, then primers will hit the shelves more and more. They are trickling in at BP and CAB from time to time about every two to three weeks. I paid $54.00 for a brick of SP a week ago. A search on gun brok.. shows people selling...
They have a database with key words that they look for or phrases, and every packet flows through these banks of servers all over looking for those keywords or phrases. Once they find it, everything is recorded and flagged for inspection. Its pretty easy to do, if you think about it.
It was given to me, ( only used for one season and not a scratch on it) and I did chamber a rem 130 grn soft point and it went in perfectly but the bullet ogive is different from those sierra HPBT and the coal on that factory round is 3.230
First of all, let me say "Don't DO IT" I had to say that because it can be very dangerous if you do not know what you are doing, not to mention it could ruin your gun or set property on fire.
If you google making tracer rounds you will find all the info you need if you look thru the B.S...
I like S&B brass, mine has been through many reloadings in 9mm and 45acp and still going strong. I mainly use winchester primers and have no issues priming as all of my s&b brass primer pockets have rounded edges. From what I can tell, the s&b brass I have is outlasting other brands I have!
Berry's HB bullets shoot great, have tried many flavors and they fly straight and true. I loaded with power pistol, 231, n350 very accurate.
Not to mention that one could make tracer rounds with those hollow backs. I'm not saying that it should be done, just saying :what:
Prob will be ok, I would just wipe them down and inspect them if they got wet. Tell him to go to wally world and get a plastic tub with lid and keep ammo in there.
