    Thanks tuj. I tried the S&W forum and seems I got a good un. Only 512 were made and the folks there say its a good lil gat:) 12 +1 and compact enuff for a good Summertime CCW. Best regards, Mike.

    Lew Horton I bought a Lew Horton 686 S&W snub nib in i think 87, and i still shoot the snot outta it.Even with full power loads, its got enuff heft to make it fun to shoot all day long.:)

    Of the many fine grip makers out there, such as Sarge at the finer grain, Wicked grips, Esmeralda,etc, the choices are many.But i have been looking at Mr Olympus(brownscustom) and i gotta say his are also world class....such beauty from a piece of wood.I salute you all for you skills...best...
