I expect I'll buy one, no reason not to. One thing I like about it is its non-directional. Tighten it up and shoot it. It's heavier than the thread protector but not such a pain to take back off to pull your barrel out of the gun. I like that.
I really like the sprinco recoil...
I think its a Q5 steel Frame match pro re-named. Looks identical to my Q5 SF PRO Match.
Yes they are expensive but they are one hell of a gun. Mine is a lot easier to shoot accurately than my PDP maybe because of the weight.
I have a Red dot on my Q5 and maybe thats part of it to.
I just...
Let me know how both of those work out , expecially the comp. I need to get off my butt and get one ordered.
I've been trying to get into HB Industries and their web site must be down or something. I'll try later.
Mine's the 4.5" compact, it doesn't seem to compact to me, I'd hate to try to CCW the thing. I wouldn't anyways with a 3.5lb trigger. But then they call my S&W Shield a micro and it's hardly that.
That was a complaint of mine also. I put Sprinco's recoil management system in mine but it...
If they add some forward weight, I'd be good with it. Some people say they do and some say they can't see a difference. It may depend on what ammo your shooting.
I'll have to check out the SCS. I should look to see if my Q5 and the SD Pro have the same foot print for Red dots. No, they...
That's good for me to know, if I decide to buy a red dot for the PDP That is the one I will go for since it's direct mount. I bought it to be open sights but I have a Red Dot on my Q5 and there is definitely an advantage to having them.
That is one thing the PDP definitely needs in my opinion, is more weight. Mine has the threaded barrel and I was thinking about putting a compensator on mine just add forward weight to it. They are kind of a pain though and I don't know how much it would actually help with 9mm. Not a lot of...
I have the Q5 match Steel Frame Pro and the PDP SD Pro.
I prefer the Q5 SF Pro over the PDP SD Pro. The bought the SD Pro for my range gun and it to me is harder to shoot accurately, probably because of the difference in weight.
I put put a new trigger spring kit and recoil...
With six stations I would have hoped you would have bought the lock out die instead of a powder cop die. You don't have to watch a lockout die, it will just stop your press on a no-charge or a double charge.
As far as the press goes, I will let others who have been using it for a while now...
I wet clean in an ultrasonic cleaner and use plated bullets. I still made them wash up when their done. I won't dry clean any fired cases, they get the ultrasonic first then dried, loaded and then tumbled in my rotary tumbler for 15 minutes to get the lube off before shooting.

I've not bought from either of these companies so do some checking before you order.
My grand daughter would help me in the reloading room when she was younger, I had her seating bullets when she was five. She had to stand on a stool to reach the press.
She's 16 now and has other interests of course.
