4 inches high at 25 yards seams about right for shooting bullseyes at a 6 o'clock position, and that used to be quit common use for a .45

That looks like alot of fun, i've driven by Raton, a hundred times i swear heading up to denver. I allways say i should stop, but its right in the middle of a 12 hour drive and i just want to keep going.

Our test was beyond easy, the teacher went over the all the info in his review and left it on the board. But every detail of the course was left up to the teacher including the test questions.

I used to shoot, at a gravel pit on the side of the road, on hiway 36 north of boulder. Then we would stop at the "bus stop" in boulder on the way home. This was in the late 80's. I belive their were/are similare spots in the rampart range sw of denver. Try hiway 85 to sedalia, then 67 up...
