Not sure if this is allowed, but saw this and thought I would share. IT'S NOT MY LISTING.
Armslist in KY has a '79 Golden 39a listed in the Bowling green area.
Thanks Crunchy Frog! She is more interested in CMSA. I'm just her firearm instructor/advisor. I'll be doing some reading tonight.

I have a female friend interested in CMAS. I've done some reading and have the general idea of the entire process. What would be a good entry level pistol? Any advice on blackpowder blanks.
If anyone has any other advice I'm all ears!

Well finally had time to install my Skinner peep sights and get to the range. I think I like them! Here is the target at 50 yards when I was adjusting the sights.

CTD can go to you know where!
Went to Walmart this morning to stand in line at the 7am ammo release. Got 3 50 round boxes of 9mm. I got lucky since I was about 10th in line. By the time I got home on Armslist there was and ad for 45acp and 22lr. The guy in front of the lines jacket was...
I have owned all 3. The only one that I had problems out of was to P22. It didn't like any bulk ammo and had a few issues with CCIs. Almost all were FTF.
My kids both have SR22s and wife has the Sig Mosquito. No issues ever with the SR22s and only one FTF on the Sig out of over a thousand...
I have only been able to get 100 rounds through mine so far, but I really like it. I have had several Kimbers, but already like the Nightmare better. No FTF, FTE, or any malfunctions. Haven't used the factory mags. Only Wilson Combats.
RS hope the rust stops!
Glad I found my 39 before this shortage happened. I was able to pick up 1000 rounds of CCI 22 long yesterday. Now I have an extra 1000 22lr for the less accommodating rimfires. It makes me love this rifle even more!
"I was wondering if anyone else saw anything weird or funny regarding different weapons people brought to your CHL class? "
No weird weapons. One blind man though(he passed).
5.11 Tactical has a few with a cutting edge less than 2". I have a few DRT spearpoints that I use and abuse at work. They are cheap enough to be easily replace if lost or broken.
I was just pointing out my experience at an invitation only private club. I trust no one until they prove themselves. I shoot at about the same time every week and it usually the same older gentlemen there. The three I'm usually with I trust completely. One is a marine that retired when I was in...
I used to go to Bud's in Lexington, but I got tired of Rambo in the next lane raining brass on me.
I joined a local sportsmens club and never looked back. I'm 41 and only once in 3 years has anyone younger than me been shooting at the same time. Thats was a father and his 2 sons. They were...
Forgive me if someone has already posted this. I stopped by the local empty ammo shelf at Walmart this morning. No useful ammo but did see a nice sign on the rifle carousel.

Double J,
Ah the old no staples to hang targets. I now have an Altoids tin with thumbtacks in truck glove box, truck tool box, and range bag. I also have a box of staples in all 3 locations. It will never happen again! Oh wait, wife took my stapler out of my range bag and didn't put it back...
I have a Mark II and a 22/45. They are a a little confusing the first few times, but pretty simple after that. If you have any trouble check out Rimfirecentral.com. Those guys can tell you anything you need to know about any rimfire.
I'm quite ashamed to admit, but thats what the hole is! I'd completely forgotten about the bullseye. Ordered one from Midway USA. So now that is taken care of I'm very pleased with the price.
I finally got to join the 39a club. I stopped by the LGS and saw a 1977 39a on the rack. Probably paid to much, but I've been looking for one for over a year. I'm now $450 lighter and still happy! Metal condition is 99% and looks gorgeous. Wood has a hole were someone messed up trying to drill...
