It doesn't matter if it has one or not. My gun is always loaded with one in the pipe unless I'm cleaning it or I just emptied the mag. I would still check, reguardless of the loaded indicator showing brass or not.

Just picked up a Glock 23, 3rd. gen. with a tac light and a Remington 870 Wingmaster.
I replace the original 28" barrel with an 18" one and it now resides beside my bed.
There are some real bad ass quick draw cowboys around this site. I'll bet it takes more than a second to register danger and the brain to tell the hand to reach for the pistol. I'm just saying...
