Ruger 77 MkII - what breaks in them?

Why would you care? If it's for combat, you certainly don't want a bolt action. If it's for dangerous game, your guide/prohunter is backing you up anyway. If it's not for a $50,000 hunt at some rare critter in Timbuctu, the extremely unlikely breakage of parts is of no concern. If it is a once...

I know, that is why it will be kept secret until the patent application is submitted. Right now I am seeking marketing information.

    Top shot show on History

Why does anyone CARE, that is my question? It's just another bs TV show, after all, so why give it the time of day?

so far, just a few rds, 5" at 5m seems to be the average. Perfect, in my book, since nearly all justifiable civilian defensive shooting occurs at closer ranges. I do have a way to ensure adequate penetration, btw.

Has anyone tried Triple 7 in handguns?

Say, in a 44 cap and ball revolver, of real strength, like the Ruger Old Army, does the Hodgdon product offer higher velocity than Pyrodex?

Then you think incorrectly, sir. The sort of thing I speak of has already been tried, in an inferior fashion to my proposal, by stacking several very short, full WC shape bullets in a 357 case. they do spread apart in flight.

Bolt guys and gals are gonna hate me!

Big Bro is not taking MY autoloaders, in any caliber. or there will be consequences, as they say. :-)So I see no point in settling for an action type that is twice as slow for a repeat hit and not as accurate as my autoloaders, and which offers inferior range, penetration and magazine...

u believe that somehow the laws of physics are undone? the rifling spin will cause the 2 projectiles to spread apart in flight, friend. the issue is how far apart, at what range?

    Throw Away Guns

This assumes that you are too lazy to carry, right? A 1lb pocket 9mm and pants pocket holster is just too much for you to lug around?

Would you carry a less than reliable auto-loader?

If it offered some sort of power or other advantage, of course I would choose it over a less efficient load. Why settle for a load that is a 1 in 5 failure scenario, against a 1 in 20 failure sort of load, when the odds are that you wont fire at all, and if you do have to fire, the rd in the...

Assuming that both projectiles have adequate penetration, would you regard a round that throws 2 bullets to be more effective than the same diameter bullet as a single projectile. Assume that the single projectile load really does expand in the chest as claimed, and assume that the 2 projectile...

    Factory loads

Forget the 44 for defense If you load it down to some semblance of controlability in rapidfire, it is no better a manstopper than a top .45 ACP load, so why lug around the weight and bulk of the .44? ) Most shots in combat miss the target completely and most hits are not very good hits, so...

    Connundrum

Those who have a problem with point shooting are simply trying to use it beyond its effective range. If you get both hands on your pistol, and get it to an eye-level point firing position, point shooting works fine to 10 ft of range and that covers well over 90% of the requirements we civilians...

    Connundrum

I find IDPA, IPSC, to be only slightly more effective than PPC or BE shooting. They are still too mired in "too-long" ranges, too slow responses, and inadequate use of cover, and movement. They also don't recognize that the odds are 10 to 1 against your having to fire, as long as you get your gun...

Where do they get the power?

All power comes from the wielding of force, or the th reat of same. We all do what we want until someone with a gun stops us, basically, or our programmed morality does. The latter is quite prone to failure in times of stress, and then we revert to the animalistic aspect of being stopped by...
