Mark_Mark...If you are shooting that low at 10 yards you might be anticipating the recoil and dipping the muzzle.
I have a COLT second generation SAA in .357 Magnum 4 3/4' barrel. I purchased it new in 1966. I shoot light loads one handed and heavy (hunting) loads two handed. My hunting load...
As you can see from my avatar I enjoy my M-10s. The 2" barrel is my wife's. She love it and really enjoys shooting it. She once told me that if you want it you would get one bullet at a time.
As I have said before...32 grains of W-748 under a 170 grain JSP FN Speer Hot-core. 1 5/8" spread three shots at 100 yards from a 74 year old M-94 Winchester. 2000 fps +/- a few fps.

Mine is a 19-5 that I bought in the early 90's It's nickel with a 2 1/2" barrel. It has seen a steady diet of 140 grain (Remington) SJHP over 7.6 grains of W 231. Its had at least 1000 round of this stuff and no split. This load over the chronograph runs just over 1000 fps from the 2 1/2"...
