I wouldn't. I like the 38 over the 380. You could always carry both.

I have a rra entry operator 2 and it runs flawless. I have put just over 500 rounds threw it and have never had an issue. I would trust my life with it.

I had an xd 40 and it was a great gun. I never had a failure of any kind. There is nothing wrong with polymer pistols. A friend of mine has an m&p 40 and he loves it. Like I said before go with what fits you.

All of your choices are great guns. You need to choose what fits you best because what is good for me or someone else may not be right for you. Go to a local range and rent a few pistols and see which you like the best.

Thats why I picked colt over Springfield. It kind of upsets me that they are mostly produced in Brazil

I say look for a used colt. I just saw a really nice 80 series at my lgs for 660. Went back to get it and it was gone.

A single shot handi rifle in 25-06. It's big enough for deer and small enough for coyote. It will shoot out to 300 yards with no problem.
