when I shoot matches with a muzzle stuffer , I have slightly thinner patches for when the barrel starts to fowl . It works pretty good for me.

lelitack32f1, lone wolf has a drop in barrel that would make it a gen4 g22. I was thinking of getting the 9mm barrel from them to make mine a g19 if I needed it to be. (in case of future ammo shortage) I think they are a little over a hundred bucks.

You could check Lone Wolf for a different barrel, have heard great feedback on them. And they are fairly cheap. I really like the barrel lettering on the muzzle that says "wait for the flash"
