This was my reason for moving away from a M9 for personal use, the dang lever in of itself and then, secondary, the position of it. Freaking nightmare with my hands for presenting the weapon.

The M9 is an excellent sidearm. Military personnel don't have the luxury to pick and choose what they are issued, they learn the weapon. Civilians can and it is a bit laughable at some the opinions etc. voiced about weapons, specs, ammo, blah and blah. If you can't or don't know how to use it it...

Yeah, they don't train anyone how to properly handle a weapon. To even qualify with a weapon gents usually have dry fire more than most will do in a lifetime.

Teflon = PTFE, I doubt that cooks off to easily, but it is just a small part percentage of CLP. Firing enough rounds and you can smell that stuff cooking, not that this bad, just meant there was bit wet. On the windy, dry, sandy, dirty environment, the weapon doesn't have to be dripping, just...

I really wouldn't depend too much on the residual teflon left behind by CLP, the weapon may run but not for long and it will be pain to clean as well. CLP will evaporate and cook off. IMO, if you using just CLP you want it visibly wet. If during a long range session you start seeing some dry...

@ don, that Platinum elite is slick. Anyhow, hit the range today. Prior I cleaned and lubed the heck out my P229, 180 rounds and no issue, I am hitting POA much better and am very happy with this weapon, top shelf piece of machinery.

Thanks gents. I got it for $.20 a round, I was looking for some decent 124gr to practice with, all I could find in that range was 115, like I said I researched it a bit and seemed go to go, but was concerned with the indoor range low lead and if it makes a difference.
